Supporting Voices awards for a second year running

Coram Voices, run by the charity Coram Voice, is the national creative writing competition for children in care and young care leavers, providing them with a platform to express their creative talents and to celebrate their voices.  Now in its fifth year, the theme for Voices 2020 is ‘Dreams’ and we are proud to announce our involvement in the Voices Awards 2020.

Cadence first supported the competition in 2019. In addition to sponsoring and supporting the awards, several Cadence members volunteered to help with the competition’s shortlisting process. The awards ceremony took place online in July on Coram Voices YouTube channel.

Brigid Robinson, Managing Director of Coram Voice, said: “We are proud to welcome Cadence Innova as our headline sponsor.

We are hugely grateful for Cadence Innova’s generous support and dedication to the competition. This enables us to provide a special and memorable experience for the young people taking part, celebrating their talents and allowing them to share their stories with wider audiences.”

Cadence Innova director, Gita Singham-Willis, said: “We are delighted to sponsor this great event for a second year running. The Voices Awards champion children’s creativity and development, and we are proud to be a part of this inspiring competition.”

It was yet another emotional Voices awards, with astonishing quality and creativity shown in the submitted works. If you would like to read all entries, you can do that here.

Take a look at this delightful poem the team at Coram Voice received from Ryan, the winner of the primary category, sharing how special the competition had been for him.

Cadence presented at the Digital Government Online Summit 2020

Cadence Innova presented at this year’s Digital Government Virtual Summit on 22nd September.

Digital Government 2020 looked at the progress made on the journey to a digital by default state, as well as the challenges which still need to be overcome. Through best practice case studies and high-level discussions, this event allowed representatives from central and local government, as well as the NHS and private sector an opportunity to fully utilise digitalisation, assembling services quickly and at a lower cost, improving access to services for their users.

Our live session focused on the importance of putting people first when it comes to digital transformation. Some of the things we discussed:

  • How do you re-focus your digital programmes around empowering your staff?
  • Putting people first – humanising technological innovation through service design
  • Leveraging local conditions to change the stories your people are telling to support change
  • Ensuring your organisation can transform to weather long term uncertainty

We recorded our presentation and are pleased we are able to share it with you. You can see it below.

If you have any questions about our presentation, digital transformation or anything else, please email us at We would love to hear from you.
